I’m Jose Quintana a design engineer and non-professional illustrator living in Greensboro. I love to recreate many subjects including semi realistic portraits, manga/anime or cartoon art. My work consists of mix media (watercolor, ink, and colored pencil). I am not obsessed with trying to find my own style, for me, style is a tool you can use to give your picture another layer of meaning in my opinion. I want to be able to change it when i feel the need to. The more I paint things the more fun I had when I feel inspired and just paint what came to my mind. So my personal style is in everything I make, that’s the beauty of art since you can portray a part of your soul in it.
